New Bedford parish invites all to pray Rosary Friday

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — Catholic organizations are taking the lead in praying for the Salvation of America and the soul of its people.

St. Anthony of Padua Church, located at 1359 Acushnet Ave in New Bedford, will begin its outside Rosary on Friday, June 26 starting at 7 p.m. in front of the church.

Parishioners will unite in effort with the Mother Church in praying for an end to the culture of death, violence, hatred, and sins against Our Lord — especially those committed against the Most Blessed Sacrament.

All are welcome to join in this peaceful prayer. If you cannot attend, you are encouraged to take some time and pray the Rosary yourself, followed by the Chaplet of Divine Mercy starting at 7 p.m. on June 26.

God willing, this will continue at the same location every Friday, so please join the group whenever you can and make sure to invite others.

For more information, call the St. Anthony of Padua Parish rectory at 508-993-1691.
