Mrs. Mary Lou Depot, sister of Father Philip A. Davignon

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Mrs. Mary Lou (Davignon) Depot, 68, wife of the late Richard O. Depot, and sister of Father Philip A. Davignon, pastor of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Osterville, died Sunday April 19, 2009 at home.

Born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Philip and Alma Grace (Malay) Davignon, she was a secretary/bookkeeper for the Brownell Mill Supply.

She had lived in Florida for eight years after moving from Attleboro, where she was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Parish. She was a seamstress and enjoyed playing cards and dominoes.

Besides her priest brother, she leaves three sons, Scott Depot of Attleboro, Barry Depot of Utica N.Y., and Matthew Depot of Weatherford Okla.; two daughters, Julie of North Attleboro and Monique of Attleboro; another brother, Warren Davignon of North Fort Myers Fla.; a sister, Barbara Violette of Greenville Tenn.; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Her Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday at St. Joseph Church in  Attleboro, Mass. Burial followed in St. Stephen Cemetery, also in Attleboro. 

The Foley Funeral Home in Attleboro was in charge of arrangements.
